On Saturday, September 15th 2018, a reunion event was held for the Haddam Junior High School graduates at the Brookside Bar & Grille restaurant in Higganum, CT. Over 100 members of all classes (1960 – 1973) were invited, mostly by word-of-mouth. A private Facebook site was set up to provide details, accept photos and follow-up commentary. The organizing committee consisted of Jeff & Lisa Ogilvie, Ralph Rand, Kevin & Pat Rarey, Diane Hines, John Durinick and Kenny Vallera. Munchies and a cash bar were provided. About 50 members of the group showed up between 6:30 and 8:30 PM.
The music teacher, Ray Churchill, Jr. attended and said: “It was a great reunion! — 45 or more years since many of us had seen each other. Those name tags really helped. Some of my greatest pleasures are reminiscing about school, seeing them as adults and hearing about their journey through life!!! — loved it. ”

1974 too! Last class to go to Woodrow Wilson High & Middletown High. Such a great evening – loved seeing everyone! 🙂
I graduated in 1970, didn’t know anything about this event.
