(June 7, 2023) — Liam Gordon struck out thirteen, pitching a one-hit shutout to get the semifinal win for Haddam-Killingworth High School, 4-0 over Lyman Memorial, in the state tournament on June 6, 2023. Dylan Coon hit a two-run triple in the third for HK’s first runs. Jackson Pray followed with a two-run single in the fifth to give the Cougars a solid lead. Alex Ortiz had the lone hit in the sixth for Lyman Memorial, which finished the season 17-8.
