High Hopes Therapeutic Riding will be transforming their riding arena into a holiday marketplace on Nov. 17, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. According to their website, there will be food trucks, an apple pie contest, sweet treats, live music, lotions and potions, paintings, fine creations, jewels, kids crafts, photos, cozy apparel, and upcycled finds. The website says, “Find perfect presents for your loved ones and maybe even something special for yourself, too!”
Entry to the market is free with a non-perishable donation to the Shoreline Soup Kitchens and Pantries. Last year they collected over 3,000 pounds of food, and they’re hoping to exceed that amount this year.
There will be book signings, a raffle, over 60 vendors (including a few from Haddam and Killingworth). There will also be a Tasting Tent (separate admission required; over 21).
