On Wednesday, May 29, 2019, GCI Outdoor, located at 457 Killingworth Road, celebrated its official grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
GCI Outdoor develops high quality, innovative, comfortable, compact and portable outdoor products that are designed for life outdoors. Their products are sold in camping, outdoor, and sporting good retailers as well as QVC and online. They were originally located at 66 Killingworth Road in Higganum, but are now down the road at a brand new facility at 457 Killingworth Road, near Haddam Killingworth High School and Higganum Family Medical.
“We are very proud of Co-Presidents Dan Grace and Jeff Polke, and appreciate their willingness to commit to our region. While Middlesex Chamber of Commerce Chairman Jay Polke has attended over 100 grand opening celebrations over the past two years, I suspect this one will be his favorite, as he gets to cut the ribbon on this beautiful new facility with his son Jeff and the terrific team at GCI and First Selectwoman Lizz Milardo. We look forward to working with them as we move forward,” said Middlesex Chamber President Larry McHugh.
