Haddam’s Economic Development Commission is sponsoring the Higganum Farmer’s Market, which will be held every second and fourth Thursday from June 27, 2019 until October 10, 2019 on the Higganum Green, from 4:00-6:30 p.m. The Farmer’s Market will be predominately produce, but crafters are welcome if space is available. Some of the vendors who will be participating are Wellstone Farm, Cold Goats Farm, Foxglove Soap, and Dough on Main.
“The tables are free as this is a means to promote local businesses and farms,” said Cortney Emshwiller-Swokla, one of the organizers of the Farmer’s Market. Any food items will have to be cleared by the Health Department.
The dates will be: June 27, July 11 & 25, August 8 & 22, September 12 & 26, and October 10.
