(Sept. 2, 2020) — The Helping Hands Food Pantry is glad to announce that it has added set hours for food pickup by Killingworth residents on Thursdays from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Food pickup is curbside at 242 Route 81. Pantry food is available for weekly pickup, if needed. Currently only nonperishable foods are available.
Please call 860 663-1765 ext. 401 or email helpinghands@kwoct.org to let the pantry know you are coming during these hours. You can order your food by phone, email or pick up an order form outside the pantry. If you can’t make the designated hours, food pickup is still available by appointment – leave a phone message or email. All information is confidential.
The pantry is now managed by the Killingworth Women’s Organization (KWO), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. To learn more about the KWO see their website www.kwoct.org.
