(Nov. 21, 2019) — “Two and a half days in and I’m still smiling!” said Bob McGarry, Haddam First Selectman. “I’ve been busy talking with the staff, settling in and getting organized. I’m lucky to have such a good group of employees working with me. Starting a new job is always a hectic and at times overwhelming time but I’ve been through it enough to know that eventually you develop routines and things calm down.
