Haddam Senior & Social Services: Monthly Report, June 2023

(July 5, 2023) — The following programs serviced the community during the month of June, 2023. Please note the Social Services report includes totals for the Municipal Agent.                                                                              Senior and Social Services: 

Haddam Emergency Food Bank serviced a total of sixty-two adults and eighteen children; in addition to food, Haddam Emergency Food Bank serviced one family with a gift card to local restaurants and/or grocery stores in town. 

Haddam Emergency Fuel Bank serviced a total of one family for fuel assistance: 0- Oil, 1- Electricity, 0- Pellets, 0- Propane 

Haddam Senior & Social Services serviced five individuals with paperwork assistance.

Haddam Social Services/Clothing Bank serviced ninety-five people with clothing.

Haddam Social Services did no wellness checks during June 2023. 

Senior Van: 

The Senior Van serviced a total of eight medical appointments in June and an average of five seniors attended the weekly shopping trip in June. 

Haddam Senior Center:

Open twelve days during June, 2023. 

The Haddam Senior Center distributed seventy-six CRT meals for the month of June and had 174 visitors at the Senior Center. 

Fifteen seniors attended the acoustic guitar program; eleven seniors for pizza and a movie; and ten for the Fall Risk Prevention Program sponsored by the Connecticut River Area Health District (CRAHD).
