Haddam Scouts BSA Troops #44 & #44G held Court of Honor on Dec. 14, 2021

On Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021, Haddam BSA Troops #44 and 44G held their first in-person Court of Honor since November 2019. Scouts Tyson Glazier and Cooper Meehl led the ceremony held at the First Congregational Church of Haddam where 21 rank advancements and 54 merit badges were awarded to Scouts in the troop.

  • Dylan Brown, Ryan McCue, Harrison Reed, Joseph Rizzo, Liam Sikora, Caiden Taylor, and Devin Weems earned their Scout rank
  • Dylan Brown, Ryan McCue, Harrison Reed, Joseph Rizzo, and Devin Weems earned their Tenderfoot rank
  • Cooper Meehl and Colin Mitchell earned their Second Class rank
  • Liam Emigh, Jackson Pray, and Tyson Glazier earned their Star scout rank
  • Liam Emigh, Jaden Frank, and Colin Mitchell earned their First Class rank
  • Soren Tassmer earned his Life rank

The following merit badges were awarded (number of Scouts who earned the merit badge in parentheses):

  • Citizenship in the Nation (1)

BSA Troop #44G, the Boy Scouts’ sister troop, which was created February 1, 2019, when BSA allowed girls into the Scouts, BSA program, held their Court of Honor at the same time. In this regional troop, there was one rank advancement, and four merit badges awarded.
