(September 26, 2023) — Homeland Towers, LLC and Cellco Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless will host a Public Information Meeting regarding its plans to construct a wireless telecommunications facility in the northwest portion of a 13.14-acre parcel of land at 124 Ague Spring Road in Haddam Neck.
The proposal calls for the construction of a 150-foot monopole tower, the installation of antennas on the tower and associated equipment and a diesel-fueled backup generator on the ground within fenced facility compound at the base of the tower. The tower and compound would be designed to accommodate up to four wireless carriers and the Town’s emergency service providers, if a need exists. The telecommunications facility described above is under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Connecticut Siting Council pursuant to the provisions of Section 16-50g et seq. of the General Statutes.
A Public Information Meeting will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room in the Haddam Volunteer Fire Department Building, 439 Saybrook Road in Haddam.
