On Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., there will be a Haddam Police/Patriots Rally on the Higganum Town Green. It will occur rain or shine.
According to the event description on social media, it is an opportunity to “Come show your support for Law Enforcement and First Responders. Bring your flags and signs to show that the people of Haddam will stand up for and with those that keep us safe. Come stand for Law and Order and listen to our speakers, who include the candidate for CT-33 Senate seat, Brendan Saunders, and candidate for CT-36 House seat, Robert Siegrist. Bring your family, bring your flags, bring your American Pride!
Haddam residents Dan Luisi and Christopher Page, along with Robert Siegrist’s parents, and Linda Stuhlman from an organization called Go America Now, are assisting in organizing the event.
The organizers remind attendees to practice social distancing and to follow all applicable CDC and Connecticut COVID-19 guidelines.
