The Haddam Neck Fair has many opportunities for everyone to participate. In addition to the amusement rides, horse, oxen and pony pulling, commercial vendors, musical entertainment and lots of good “fair food,” you can enter the many various contests available.
They include: Arts and Hobbies, Arts and Crafts, Baked Goods, Canned Goods, Homebrewed Beer, Fancy Work and Quilts, Flowers and Horticulture, Photography, Spinning and Fiber, 4-H and Educational, and Vegetables and Fruits.
Entries must be submitted on Thursday, August 29, 2019 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. They will be judged and prizes will be awarded.
If you have cattle, goats, poultry, rabbits, or sheep, you may also enter, show and win prizes.
On Sunday, you may enter the 5K Road Race. You can pre-register on line and on the morning of the race. Start time is 9:30 a.m.
