Haddam Land Trust Begins Trail Work Season

Submitted by Gail Reynolds
(May 3, 2024) — The Haddam Land Trust has kicked off its season of trail work and will continue weekly on Thursdays throughout the season.
The project began on May 2, 2024 at Beaver Ledges Preserve. Volunteers should be prepared for about ninety minutes of heavy work, with gloves, boots, water bottle, and a pleasant attitude required.
Volunteers meet at the trail head on Ruth Hill Road every Thursday at 6:00 p.m.  From Route 154: Take Dudley Clark Road to Old Chester Road north (right) 1.5 miles to the Beaver Ledges sign. Remember, rain or extreme weather cancels.
