Brainerd Library’s 4th Annual “Agricultural Day” 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Connecticut Trails Day Beaver Ledges Preserve 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Join us for a hike at the Beaver Ledges Preserve and the newly acquired DeForest Preserve. We will walk approximately 2 miles on moderate terrain, with some hilly and rocky spots. You may want to bring along a walking stick if you have one. Directions: South on Saybrook Road, pass the Route 82 highway ramp, turn right onto Dudley Clark Road. Turn right on Old Chester Road. Old Chester Road turns into Ruth Hill Road. Park beyond the Route 82 overpass (about 1.5 miles), on the one-lane dirt road.
