Haddam Historical Society House Tour June 22nd

(May 14, 2024) — The Haddam Historical Society will host “Beyond the Garden Gate,” a historic house tour, on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Visitors will see six beautiful, historic homes in Haddam and Higganum, each with a special outdoor space and a fascinating history.

Included are the Smith Clark House, Irving Valentine Dickinson House, and James Walkley Farm. Also featured is a sweet, historic Cape once the home of a cooper, and “Beside the Point,” a stunning property on the Connecticut River.

The tour headquarters is at the Thankful Arnold House Museum, which contains one of Connecticut’s Historic Gardens featuring more than fifty varieties of herbs used for dyeing, cooking and medicine.
