Haddam Historical Society Announces 2021 Summer Concert Series

(June 29, 2021) — The Haddam Historical Society is thrilled to announce our Music in the Museum Gardens summer concert series. Enjoy a lovely Sunday evening in the historic and picturesque gardens of the Thankful Arnold House Museum in July and August.

July 18:  Coast Guard Clarinet Quartet

August 8:  Old Lyme Town Band

August 15:  Tom Callinan, former Connecticut State Troubadour

The concerts are FREE and open to all. Donation happily accepted.

The museum is located at 14 Hayden Hill Road and parking will be available at the Haddam Town Office Building at 30 Field Park Drive. Music is from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Bring your own chair and food. Drinks will be available for a donation. We invite you to come early to socialize and enjoy your picnic dinner any time after 5:00 p.m.

JULY 18, 2021-Kickoff Concert

The United States Coast Guard Clarinet Quartet is comprised of member of the clarinet section of the U.S. Coast Guard Band, and has regularly performed across the nation. The Quartet has been featured at Carnegie Hall and venues throughout the country. They will be presenting a program entitled “Sounds of America” which focuses on American composers and themes including works by Gershwin, Copland and Dvorak.
