At the Haddam Boy Scout Troop #44’s fall Court of Honor ceremony, held on Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2018, there were five rank advancements, and 48 merit badges awarded. Joe Mercier advanced to the rank of First Class; John Buhl became a Life Scout, Trevor Izzo attained the Star Scout rank, and Liam Emigh and Soren Tassmer became Tenderfoot scouts.

Evan Mainetti, who already achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, earned his Silver Palm pin. An Eagle Scout can earn an Eagle Palm for each additional five merit badges that is completed beyond those required for Eagle.
