(January 13, 2023) — The regular meeting of Haddam’s Board of Selectmen on January 9, 2023 at Old Town Hall was called to order by Selectman Sean Moriarty at 6:30 pm. Selectman Kate Anderson and Administrative Assistant JoAnn Ricciardelli were also in attendance. First Selectman Bob McGarry was absent.
Selectman Moriarty reported that soil testing is being done at the Scovil Hoe property. Selectman Anderson reported that Town Planner Bill Warner will attend the Economic Development Commission meeting to provide a recap of 2022 and present information on other potential areas in town for commercial development.
Selectman Anderson made a motion to hire Doreen Staskelunas as the Senior Center Activities Coordinator. The motion carried unanimously.
Selectman Anderson made a motion to designate First Selectman Bob McGarry as CEO for the Town of Haddam, so that the town is eligible to apply for the 2023 Neglected Cemetery Grant Program. The motion carried unanimously.
The next regular Board of Selectmen meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 13, 2023, at 6:30 pm. The meeting adjourned at 6:40 pm.
