H-K Relay for Life: Care to Relay?

Submitted by Elaine Jackson.

So, what is a Relay?

If one were to search online, multiple definitions would be found.

The definition which caught my eye was the following: “The act of passing along (something, such as a message or ball) by stages.”

In this case, the “something” is HOPE. When you come to a Relay for Life event, you are part of a group of people passing on the message “Yes, there is HOPE.” Hope for survivors. Hope for friends and relatives of survivors. Hope for future generations that one day, cancer will be a thing of the past.

Come join us when we “Celebrate, Remember and Fight Back” at this years’ event on June 27, 2020 at the HK High School from 12:00 noon until 10:00 p.m.

If you would like to help out, or, just find out more about The Relay for Life, feel free to attend one of our meetings (dates and times listed below). We are always looking for new faces, young or old, to make our event special.

Don’t have time to make a meeting, maybe ready to register a team, than visit our event website at www.relayforlife.org/hkct

Meetings are held monthly and are open to all. (See below)
