In 2019, we had the incredible opportunity to share our musical Passing Through with the very first audience, on stage in its first fully realized production.
Developing our new musical at The Terris Theatre, Goodspeed’s incubator for new works, was a key step in our process. New musicals at The Terris are closed to critics which allows creative teams to continue to work on shaping their show throughout the entire run. We learned an immense amount from the production, but more than anything, we learned that this incredible true story that resonates so deeply in us, resonated just as deeply in the audiences who came into the theater.
Here we are a year and a half later, in a world hungry for connection again, and the story of Andrew’s walk in search of connection feels like a tonic that we are all desperately in need of. The stories of our nation’s deep wounds uncovered along the way, while powerful in 2019, are a necessity in 2021.
We now know what has been asked of all of us.

HOW IT WORKS
Passing Through was recorded live in front of an audience at Goodspeed’s Terris Theatre in the summer of 2019 and is now available to stream on demand to your device in the comfort and safety of your own home.
When you order your ticket, we will email you a link for viewing. You will be able to stream the performance on demand anytime from March 15 – April 4. Once you click the link to watch, you will have 72 hours to view the video. You can watch the entire show or watch part and come back later. However, don’t wait too long. Once you click the link, it will become inactive after 72 hours.
