The Haddam Killingworth High School Girls Tennis team defeated North Branford today at their home courts in Haddam with a score of 5-2.
HK’s top three singles players, Anna Mercier, Lizzy Celano and Jess Duffield, all recorded straight set victories. The second doubles team of Jenna Griffith and Kami Narducci battled for a straight set win as did third doubles, Kristen Daley and Brenna Lonergan.
The girls are currently 5-5 in match play and as they plan to face Portland at home on
Wednesday.
