The Haddam Killingworth High School Girls Tennis team defeated East Hampton, 5-2 on Monday May 10, 2021 in their second Shoreline Conference matchup of the season. Both singles and doubles posted solid wins on the HK courts.
On Wednesday May 12, 2021, as the team celebrated Senior Day, the girls overcame Coginchaug 4-3 in another Shoreline Conference matchup. Again some solid play at singles with wins recorded for Lizzy Celano, Jessica Duffield and Jasmine Byrne. At doubles, Sofia
Guarino and Audra Yazmer recorded their first win of the season together.
The team’s record is now 7-6 as they prepare to play at Valley on Thursday.
