Submitted by Mike Shea, Coach.

(Nov. 16, 2020) — The Shoreline Conference Finals was held today between Haddam-Killingworth High School and Lyme-Old Lyme High Schools.

L to R: Captains Kaitlyn Parri and Morgan Madore

The defending champions, Haddam-Killingworth got on the board first when Autumn Walton scored a beautiful goal at the top of the 18 yard box.  In the second half Yumi Imai was assisted by Autumn Walton to score a scorching goal from the right side of the field. Old Lyme came back to score a couple goals.  But Maggie Singer found Kedarjah Lewis with a nice pass, with Lewis delivering the final goal for HK.

goalkeepers L to R: Rhi Phipps, Sophia Torella, Brianna Nugent, and Kelsey Lonergan

Brianna Nugent made 12 saves for the Cougars.

The Haddam-Killingworth High School Girls Soccer team is now Shoreline Conference Champion for the second year in row.
