Football 2021: HKHS Defeated by Cromwell/Portland 3-41

The Haddam Killingworth High School Varsity Football team was defeated in Cromwell by the Cromwell/Portland co-op team on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021 with a final score of 41-3.

Alex Hair had two rushing touchdowns and Cole Brisson accounted for three TDs as the Cromwell/Portland co-op (2-0) defeated HK (1-2) in Cromwell on Friday night. Brisson threw touchdown passes of 56 yards to Teddy Williams and 32 yards to Brandon Rose, and he added a two-yard run for a score. Kevin Cavrell kicked a 27-yard field goal for the Cougars.

Ryan Duncanson had a strong game for HK, recording an interception and a number of tackles on defense. Nick Glynn played well at running back and linebacker in his first game for the Cougars, as did Alex Phipps in his first stint as quarterback.
