The Haddam Killingworth High School Varsity Football team was defeated by Valley Regional/Lyme-Old Lyme in Higganum on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2019, with a final score of VR/LOL 20, H-K 2. Brian Rankin scored two touchdowns, one on an 81-yard kickoff return and the other on a 35-yard pass reception from DiAngelo Jean-Pierre, as the co-op of Valley Regional/Old Lyme (5-5) defeated HK (2-8) in the annual Principals’ Cup game. Jean-Pierre scored the other Warrior touchdown on a 10-yard pass reception from John Cox. Chris Moore accounted for HK’s lone score with a first-quarter sack of Cox in the end zone for a safety.
