(May 19, 2023) — Five Haddam Killingworth High School Cougars have been given seeded placement in the upcoming Shoreline Conference Boys Tennis Tournament based on their won/lost records during the current season.
Bryce Leiberman (11-3 overall) was seeded 5th and Eddie White (9-4 overall) was seeded 7th in the singles 1-2 draw. Joe Wessinger received a 3 seed in the 3-4 singles draw based upon his 9-3 overall record in Conference play. In the 1-3 Doubles draw, seniors Gus Luzietti and Cav Napoletano were seeded 5th finishing the regular season with a record of 7-5 overall.
Other team members qualifying for selection in the tournament are Will Lirot in singles and the doubles teams of Ezekiel Stevens and Saige Merwin and the freshman duo of Adam Livingston and Luke Frohlich. First round play is scheduled to start at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023, on the Old Saybrook and Lyme-Old Lyme High School courts.
