Stormy!
So how should I start poor Stormy’s story. This poor dog came from West Texas experiencing a harrowing trauma to reach Brass City Rescue. She had been found dragging a chain. Not an uncommon sight there but this time, the chain had been roped through her neck. It sickens me beyond words to even think about it but YES it’s true.
Her neck was sliced open and a chain pushed through it to keep her in her yard. She escaped anyway and found angels that put her back together again. Stormy is dog aggressive and assumed cat aggressive as well. Despite all of this, she’s absolutely the most AMAZING dog. She just LOVES people and kids, loves bones, toys, food, zero food aggression at all.
She’s tough on a leash but that’s workable. She’s smart as a whip and loves car rides. The rescue thinks leash and muzzle training may do her good. She was in a foster home with a docile large male dog in Texas and she loved him. But for now, she should probably be the only dog.
