(April 21, 2022) — River is a 1 ½ year old, male, Greater Swiss Mountain/Hound Mix. Currently he weighs 55 pounds but could use a few more as he is running lean.
Now this guy is the sweetest and affectionate boy and of course absolutely handsome. If you want to draw attention to yourself, just take him with you for a walk and heads will turn for sure. He craves attention so get ready for it. 
River is a medium to high energy dog so he will need a family who is active and will take him on daily walks or runs. He is wicked smart, learning some basic commands, and walks nicely on a leash. Continuing his obedience training would be a definite plus with his new family as he is a quick learner as well as food motivated!
He loves people, other dogs, and children over the age of 8 years old. Having another doggie sibling medium to large in size would be perfect.
