(July 29, 2022) — This is a happy-go-lucky guy who just wants to be with a very active and loving family. He wouldn’t mind having another dog that can match his energy; actually, that would be great. I think Riley was at Woodstock in another life, listening to the Mamas and the Papas just grooving around. A great dog, but just doesn’t take social correction too well. He would need an owner who will correct him when he’s too nosy. He is a love bug, I have to say! All he wants is to be with you all the time and he’s very well-mannered.
This guy is crate-trained but continues to work on it….practice makes perfect. He knows a few basic commands, but bribe him with treats and you’re all set. This guy will serve up cocktails.Riley is excellent in the car and at the groomer. He is great on walks, too. His family had a life change and that’s how he came into Brass City Shelter.
