(April 26, 2024) — This beautiful little girl will sweep you off your feet when you meet her. She is as sweet as can be. Lucy is a Chihuahua, four years old, and weighs seven whole pounds. If you want a true lap dog and a true companion, she is for you. The poor thing was surrendered by her previous owner, which was absolutely no fault of her own, and Lucy is ready to find her very own new family.
She loves attention and snuggling while receiving all the hugs and kisses she can get. Lucy is calm, but when she is feeling at home that zing of energy will come out and she is ready to rock and roll. She is the perfect dog for a happy and fulfilling life with her people.
Lucy has such a gentle, friendly and loving personality. When first meeting new people, it may take her a bit of time to warm up, but she will be your best friend as fast as you can blink an eye. She does prefer being with adults, so having teenage children in the house would be perfect. Lucy is working extremely hard on her house training and doing well with pee pads in the shelter. She gets along great with other small dogs and would love a furry brother or sister to play with. She is spayed and up-to-date with her shots.
