Male
About 3 years old, neutered and up to date on his shots.
House trained
Walks well on a leash
Knows all of his basic commands plus some advanced commands
Could live with another dog of similar size with proper introductions, or would be happy as your one and only
Fine with older respectful children (13 years old or older)
Should not live with cats or small dogs
Locke has just completed a residential training program and he is now ready and waiting to move on to a foster home!
He went to training after he became protective of his family in a foster home, and we realized he needed immersive training to overcome that tendency. Locke was also very reactive when kenneled, and he needed help with that as well.
He’s aced his training! He has been working with a wonderful trainer, Alyssa Larson, and is now all ready and waiting to move on to the next chapter of his life!
Furry Friends is looking for a foster family for Locke experienced with the breed. A securely fenced yard would be a huge plus for this young dog. He needs a family who will continue to work with his trainer to ensure that he continues to move forward. He would love an active family to take him on adventures, and continue to expose him to new people, places, and things.
