Howie wasn’t ready for an adoption event this past Sunday, but his foster is working with him and says he is getting better with time.
Howie is a special boy. He came north on a transport for a waiting family, but he was so scared and shut down that they didn’t adopt him. Woof Gang Rescue agreed to take him in, and work with him to develop confidence so he can be adoptable.
Howie is a 5/6-month-old puppy, maybe shep/hound mix. He will be medium size when he is fully grown. He is crate trained and working on house breaking and basic manners with a wonderful foster, but what he needs the most work on is trusting humans. He is extremely scared and distrustful.
