Bo’s Story…He needs your HELP!
Sometimes life deals you a hand you really don’t deserve. Bo was betrayed by the very humans who promised to love and care for him. He has trust issues that cause him to scare easily and bark and he is most likely inbred as he is from a puppy mill and he is cross eyed. He has issues from being confined in a crate too long and he requires a double hip surgery because both of his hip balls are completely out of their sockets. Surgery is his only option. Unfortunately this surgery and after care will be more than $3000. Animal Control does not have the money to pay for his surgery.
He is trying really hard to learn and to adjust to his life out of a crate. He’s only 16 months old and we need to help him so he can find a real forever home. Donation jars have been placed all over so if you see one please consider donating. Every dollar helps. A fund at the Old Lyme Veterinary Hospital has been set up so you can stop by and let them know you would like to donate toward his surgery or call them directly if you would like to help at (860) 434-8387. The sooner he gets his surgery the sooner he can start his new life. Please help us help Bo. He deserves so much better than he got.
Thank You for caring. A big Thank You to Jay Presser at Mystic Clippers for donating Bo’s grooming; he had mats that we just couldn’t comb out and now he is even more adorable! (If that’s possible ) If you think you may be interested in adopting Bo once he is healed please call Old Lyme Animal Control at: 860-434-1605 for more info.
Meanwhile we are all trying really hard to heal his soul, please consider helping us to heal his body. He so deserves a chance at a Happy Life!
