(May 26, 2024) — Bright & Early Children’s Learning Centers has opened its tenth location at the site of the former Killingworth Kids Center at 155 Route 81 in Killingworth.
The center provides early care and education for infants, toddlers and preschoolers in a nurturing and scholastic environment. The curriculum focuses on all aspects of development, including social, emotional, intellectual and physical. To celebrate the opening of this new location, Bright & Early is offering free registration and one week free to new families who enroll children before July 31, 2024 and begin attending by the first week of September.
“I am so excited to be in this beautiful town of Killingworth. My goal is to provide a safe and positive environment for children to play, learn and grow,” said Director Murissa Rotz (photo below, right). “We invite everyone to call or stop by for a tour (and receive a free teddy bear!). Let us show you why our teachers and children are so happy!”
The company was founded in 1997 by Connecticut entrepreneur April Lukasik, (photo above, left) who was named Connecticut’s 2018 Person of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
In addition to the new Killingworth location, Bright & Early centers are located in West Hartford, Middletown, Middlebury, Guilford, North Branford, New Milford, Southbury, Niantic and Old Saybrook.
