Dog Licensing Update from the Killingworth Town Clerk

By Dawn Rees Mooney, CCTC, MCTC.

The past 15 months have been certainly been difficult, filled with many changes and so much uncertainty.  But there’s one thing that you can always count on…

JUNE IS DOG LICENSE MONTH!

As always, reminder postcards for all previously licensed dogs were mailed the last day of May.  Although the Town Clerk’s Office is open, to protect the health of all parties and streamline licensing operations, we encourage you to renew your dog’s license either by mail or through our drop box (include a check payable to “Town of Killingworth”), or on-line with a credit card at www.townofkillingworth.com .

To license a new pup, please mail or drop box your information (name, address and phone number) along with your dog’s information (name, breed, birth date, color, proof of rabies vaccination and spay/neuter if applicable) to the Town Clerk’s Office along with a check for the licensing fee.  The fee for a spayed/neutered pup is $8; the fee for an intact pup is $19.  First-time licenses cannot be processed online.

Our mailing address is:

Town Clerk

323 Route 81

Killingworth, CT 06419

As always, please contact the Town Clerk’s Office at 860-663-1765 x502 with any questions.  We are in the office and are always happy to assist you!
