(Middletown, CT.) Chairwoman Maureen Westbrook and Event Chairman Al Santostefano of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce invites the community to join a holiday vehicle parade titled, “Dashing Through Downtown”.
Decorate your vehicle and join in our parade as we dash through downtown Middletown spreading holiday magic to all! The holiday parade will dash off from Middletown High School at 6:30 p.m.
This event on Saturday, December 18th will be filled with holiday spirit, decorated vehicles and lots of fun! All vehicles will also be entered into a judging contest. The first, second, and third place winner will receive a Downtown Business District Gift Card. A big thanks to the Holiday on Main Street Planning Committee and the City of Middletown for their outstanding commitment and partnership on this event.
This event will benefit Holiday on Main Street, along with the Middletown Youth Programs, including the Hal Kaplan Middletown Mentor Program, Middletown Recreation Programs and the Middletown Summer Youth Employment Program. There is a $5.00 entry donation fee as well a suggested donation of an unwrapped toy to support the Middletown Police Department Toy Drive.
