NEWTON, MA (02/01/2022)– Dalton Brown, a Lasell University student from Killingworth, was recognized by the institution for outstanding collaboration in the fall 2021 semester.
Brown received the most peer nominations in their Organization and Administration of Health and Sports Programs course, taught by Professor Timothy Hanway, for exemplifying superior skills in collaboration by sharing ideas and useful information, communicating in a professional manner, and cooperating in a way to ensure success.
The Collaboration Recognition Program at Lasell is currently being run in a select number of courses, with the goal of expanding to more each semester. The program seeks to encourage and award collaborative behaviors that are the key to success in professional environments, thus recognizing students for not just academic performance but also professional demeanor. At the end of participating courses, students nominate the peer they believe best meets those criteria.
