(February 11, 2023) — Vehicle #1 was traveling on Route 9 South, in the left center lane of four, in the town of Cromwell.
Vehicle #2 was traveling in the right center lane adjacent to Vehicle #1. For an unknown reason, Vehicle #2 lost control and entered the left center lane resulting in contact with Vehicle #1.
Vehicle #2 struck a light pole in the center median on the left side before rolling over.
Operator #1 was transported to Middlesex Hospital. All occupants of Vehicle #2 were transported to Hartford Hospital.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene by Untouchable. This case remains under investigation. Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Trooper Goddard #1170 through email at evan.goddard@ct.gov.
Furthermore, if you have a vehicle equipped with a dashcam, and you were driving through the area at the time of the collision, you are also asked to contact Trooper Goddard.
