(May 28, 2023) — The Connecticut State Police had 3,225 calls for service, assisted 256 motorists, responded to 183 accidents with one involving serious injuries and one reported fatality, made 20 DUI arrests, issued 337 citations for speeding and 182 seatbelt citations. We issued 396 citations for hazardous moving violations (to include: unsafe lane change, following too closely, move over, etc.). These are reflective of the time period beginning on Friday, May 26, 2023 at midnight and ending at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
