The Connecticut River Area Health District (our local health department) will be offering flu vaccines on the following days:
Thursday, October 4, 2018, 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Killingworth Elementary School
Wednesday, October 10, 2018, 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Burr Elementary School
Tuesday, October 16, 2018, 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Haddam-Killingworth Middle School
Tuesday, October 23, 2018, 2:00-6:00 p.m. at HK Central Office (old middle school gymnasium)
Tuesday, October 30, 2018, 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Haddam Elementary School
Thursdays, October 11, 2018-Jan. 31, 2019, 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. at Connecticut River Area Health District Office in Old Saybrook
They accept following insurances:
- Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield
- Connecticare
- Medicare – Part B
- Medicaid (Husky)
- CIGNA
There will be no co-payment when using accepted insurance unless otherwise indicated. Please bring your insurance card with you. The cost for the vaccine is $20.00 for those who do not have insurance coverage or one of the accepted insurances. Cash and checks will be accepted. Children must be at least 4 years of age to receive the vaccine. Anyone under 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No exceptions.
PLEASE NOTE: THE FLU MIST NASAL SPRAY WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE THIS YEAR!!
