(May 20, 2024) — Due to a typographical error, the amount approved in the May 7, 2024 referendum on the Regional School District 17 budget was incorrect as shown in our stories on the results. The figure should have read $49,818,029, NOT $48,818,029.
I apologize for this inaccuracy, which is solely mine and not the responsibility of anyone else at this newspaper. The stories, titled “RSD 17 Budget Referendum: Unofficial Results from Haddam” and “RSD 17 Budget Referendum: Unofficial Results from Killingworth” are being updated and corrected both online and in print.
