(Feb. 9, 2022) — We have COVID-19 extended payment plans available for any customer with past due balances without requiring a determination of financial need to assist you during this period. Plans are interest-free, do not require a down payment and can be spread out up to 24 months.

Connecticut Water offers a variety of assistance programs for our customers including our Water Rate Assistance Program (WRAP), our Help 2 Our Customers (H2O) Program and through our partnership with Operation Fuel. Connecticut Water is also a participant in the State of Connecticut Low Income Water Assistance Program.
Water Rate Assistance Program (WRAP)
Connecticut Water now offers a Water Rate Assistance Program (WRAP) for income-eligible customers. It is the first program of its kind offered by a water utility in Connecticut. Through WRAP, income-eligible customers can get a 15% reduction on their water bill, excluding Linebacker service. Customers may also qualify for our H2O Customer Assistance Program and Operation Fuel offerings.

H2O – Help 2 Our Customers Program
At Connecticut Water we know how important it is for our customers to have a safe reliable supply of drinking water. At the same time, we understand the realities that customers can face when experiencing financial hardship. We are pleased to offer our H2O – Help 2 Our Customers program to provide financial assistance and/or payment plans to support customers who may be experiencing challenges and help maintain uninterrupted water service during these times. State of Connecticut Low Income Water Assistance Program
Through the State of Connecticut, households with an annual income at or below 60% of the state median income can qualify for one-time assistance of up to $1,000 on their water and wastewater bills. For more information, click here.
