Tomorrow, Saturday, Dec. 8, 2018, the Haddam Killingworth High School football team will head to New Britain to play Bloomfield for the Class S Championship. Be at the high school by 7:30 a.m. to cheer on the players as they get on the bus. The bus will depart between 7:45-8:00 a.m. Do not park along the sidewalk; park by the field house/tennis courts.
The Championship Game will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Veteran’s Stadium in New Britain. After the game, the bus will be departing from New Britain, going down Route 9 South to exit 10, through Higganum Center, and then onto Route 81 South to the high school. Wherever it is safe to park/stand along the route, you can line the road to welcome the team back to town. We will update you on their return time.
