Change in Haddam’s Upcoming Voting Sessions: 2020 Primaries & RSD #17 Budget Referendum Info. — POSTPONED

Update 3/20/2020: These have been postponed due to COVID-19. Primaries will be held June 2, 2020 according to Gov. Lamont. Will update when we know date of the referendum.

Haddam’s next voting sessions will be the Democratic Presidential Preference Primary and the Republican Presidential Preference Primary both on April 28, 2020.   The Regional School District #17 School Budget Referendum will be one week later on May 5, 2020.

January 28, 2020 was the last day to switch from one party to another to vote in the Democratic Presidential Preference Primary and the Republican Presidential Preference Primary. However, this does not apply when switching from unaffiliated to party membership. If you are unaffiliated and want to vote in the Democratic or Republican Presidential Preference Primary you can switch up to 12:00 Noon on the last business day before the primary, which is Monday, April 27, 2020.

To register to vote: The Registrars’ Office is open on Wednesdays 9:00am to 1:00pm or register at Haddam Town Hall, Town Clerk’s Office (see Town Hall hours below). You may also request the Registrar of Voters or Town Clerk send you a mail-in voter registration form, or visit our website or email us at registrar@haddam.org.
