May 1, 2022, Camp Bethel at 124 Camp Bethel Road, Haddam, will be reopening for Sunday Worship Service, facility rentals, Church retreats, a new Community Work-Study program, Summer Bible Camp with Tidal River, and our Annual Camp Bethel Association Camp Meeting Program on July 30 – August 7, 2022.
Camp Bethel was founded in 1878 and is listed on The National Register of Historic Places. Camp Bethel is an interdenominational Christian seasonal campground.
We will be beginning our season with a huge tag sale to benefit our Camp Bethel Helping Hand Society. It will be held on the Chapel grounds inside the Camp gates on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The rain date will be Saturday June 4, 2022. Everything from household goods, holiday decorations, tools and hardware will be included. Items are gently used and brand new. All are welcome!
