(October 10, 2023) — The biggest news of this season at Brainerd Memorial Library in Haddam is our annual Fall Festival. It will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the library grounds at 920 Saybrook Road in Haddam. And it’s rain or shine!
If the weather doesn’t cooperate – we will bring it all inside!
We will be decorating pumpkins and creating Scary Gardens, along with other free crafts. The Friends of Brainerd Library will hold a Book, Bake and Plant sale so you can stock up for the cooler weather – and add some beautiful new plants to your garden.
Karen, our “wreathmaster,” will create a beautiful fall wreath to raffle off, and Rick Johnson of “Papa Elf Woodcarvings” will be on hand to demonstrate his wonderful carving skills.
Other diversions include face painting, music, a food truck, free snacks and cider, and lawn games.
BML Staff looks forward to seeing everyone at Fall Fest and wishes the community a happy and colorful autumn!
