The Haddam Killingworth High School Boys Basketball team lost to Portland on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2018 with a final score of HKHS 48, Portland 65. The boys got behind 22 points before rallying and cutting the lead to 10 with 5 minutes left in the game. They ran out of gas and could not complete the comeback. Matt Wills led HK with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Jimmy McGoey had 11 points and 15 rebounds. The team plays again on Dec. 27, 2018 at Civic Leadership.
