(July 27, 2022) — The Buttonwood Tree at 605 Main Street in Middletown is proud to announce the upcoming performance of “Black Rock Fire” on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. Admission is $15. “Black Rock Fire” is a high-energy, female-fronted band from the Black Rock section of Bridgeport. “Black Rock Fire” brings hot covers of pop anthems and rock favorites from the 1990s and 2000s sprinkled with originals that will make you want to get up and dance. The band’s sound fuses warm acoustic and electric guitars over a solid rock rhythm section, while the lead singer, Sammy Harris, delivers powerhouse vocals. The band formed in late 2021, and has already dominated the live music scene in Fairfield County— recently winning multiple rounds of BRS Battle of the Bands hosted by 95.9 The Fox`s Jon Kamal. Each performance is fun, high-energy, and their breadth of song selections will be sure to provide something for everyone to enjoy!
