(October 22, 2024) — Brainerd Memorial Library is pleased and proud to proclaim that this year’s Fall Fest on Saturday, October 19, 2024, was a great success!
The library property hosted: a colorful Farmers Market, hay bale maze, The Friends book, plant and bake sales, information tables and crafts, pumpkin decorating, nature program, free treats (popcorn, cotton candy, cider), face-painting, a bounce house and more. With the Higganum Farmers Market’s help we truly transformed the site into a quintessential New England Autumn fair.
The library would like to thank all the volunteers, Friends, local organizations and businesses, our community and attendees, staff and Trustees – and the Higganum Farmers Market for their hard work and for generously giving their time and resources to make this such a wonderful event.
It was very rewarding to see everyone enjoy the day. We experienced so many smiles and lovely interactions with attendees of all ages. Our next big annual event is Agricultural Day slated for May 31, 2025. Thank you!
