Botanical Illustration Basics in Pen and Ink. Pen and ink is great fun! Give it a try and be introduced to the basics of ink application, including line work and stippling using micron pens. Workshop focuses on single botanical subject (provided by instructor). Learn the skills and begin drawing botanical illustrations in this medium with instructor tips to make drawings more successful. How to Paint a Flower in Watercolor with Bivenne Harvey Staiger. Learn to paint a beautiful flower in watercolor in each stage of the painting process, including a basic background and the flower details demonstrated. See how to achieve natural green, dark values, and various paint applications. Participants can expect to create as complete a painting as possible by the workshop’s end. No previous experience necessary. Sunday, June 4, 2023. 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. $75. Material list available upon registration.
Fused Glass Plant Stakes Workshop. Participants will decorate two plant stakes with a variety of glass frit and glass pieces using their own designs. Use special cutters to snip desired shapes necessary to create the plant stake designs. All pieces are glued onto the bases and fired by the instructor and returned to the gallery for pickup within a week. No glass cutting experience is necessary. Project can also be completed without use of cutters. Materials, goggles, and tools will be provided. Sunday, June 11, 2023. 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. $45 with $15 material fee paid to instructor (includes two garden stakes).

Known for creating repurposed designs using embroidery and fabric painting embellishments, Anna uses high-end thrift and donated clothing from friends and family to create fresh, modern, and trendy designs that can be worn by all ages. The Fashion Show features 6 models of all sizes, celebrating body positivity, confidence, wearable art, and the fun of fashion! Wine and snacks will be served for your enjoyment. Your favorite designs can be purchased after the fashion show through Spectrum Gallery.
